Of the highest rarity, apparently the second known example. A highly interesting type struck on a particularly heavy flan. Minor porosity and with some small die breaks on the obverse, otherwise, good very fine.


The unusual combination of Spes with the inscriptions SALVS AVGVSTI is attested in at least one more reverse die and is hence likely not an engraver's error, but an intended variety.
